Infinite and Impossible

A plane first glimpsed on the Planechase card ‘Stairs to Infinity’, Xerex is a surreal plane of mind-bending physics and kaleidoscopic magic. Unlike the majority of planes in the multiverse, Xerex is naturally nebulous, with an incomprehensible physical domain beyond normal understanding. When the plane was invaded by the Phyrexians during March of the Machine, the rigid Phyrexians were unable to function in Xerex’s natural reality. 

Strobe-Knights and angelic Vertex Paladins represent a type of unique holy warrior from Xerex that are enchanted by the surreal and mathematically impossible magic that the plane possesses. These magics allow the warriors of Xerex to move in-and-out of the perceivable world, stepping between moments in time in a way that is seemingly impossible.
