Home plane of the planeswalker Jace Beleren, precious little is otherwise known of the mysterious backwater plane of Vryn. First encountered in Planechase and then explored in Magic Origins, Vryn is a world with a massive depletion of mana. Gigantic structures known as mage-rings are built to enhance the world’s natural leylines, directing mana to a centralized point controlled by elite mages known as the Ampryn. The structures of the mage-rings are incredibly old, and although guarded by massive constructs, are often the target of dissidents from Trovia.
