Destroyed at Bolas’ Whim
One home plane to the planeswalker Vivien Reid, little is known about Skalla beyond its destruction at the hands of the elder dragon Nicol Bolas. It was a world divided between preservation and progress, with the great technological innovations of the nation of Nura encircling the vast Smaragdi forest leading to outright conflict between the two. In the eve of their eventual destruction, the two forces worked together to create the Arkbow, an artifact capable of holding a spiritual evocation of every living creature from Skalla. Entrusted to Vivien, it now exists as a weapon and memory of the now-extinct plane.
