A FLOWSTONE BRIDGE TO DOMINARIA

Rath is an artificial plane made entirely of flowstone, a unique material that can be controlled psychically and exists as both a solid and a liquid at the same time. Although the origin of Rath has never been explained, it was occupied by Phyrexians for the majority of its history. Phyrexians used Rath’s flowstone to slowly increase its size until it would eventually overlap over Dominaria in physical space, bridging the two and bringing Phyrexia’s armies past Dominaria’s defenses. The natural landscape of Rath is dangerous at best, with storm-filled skies and dense forests beyond the central control center known as the Stronghold. Once populated by natural races such as elves, humans, brutish goblins known as Moggs, and Kor, Rath no longer exists due to its overlay atop Dominaria at the apex of the Phyrexian-Dominarian Invasion.
