Rabiah the infinite
the plane of 1,001 reflections
A world of vast desert, Rabiah is actually a collection of one-thousand-and-one once-identical planes that spawned from a single origin plane during an event known as The Thousandfold Refraction. This is the mechanical explanation for legendary creatures, such as Sinbad and Aladdin, not having the Legendary supertype. In the centuries since the refraction, each plane has diverged and independently evolved, though they all hold strong similarities to their origin. Deserts house harsh windstorms and twisters, planar portals are abundant and link the plane to Wildfire and Dominaria, and the usually-rare efreets and djinn are found with alarming frequency. Arguably the most powerful planeswalker to ever live, Taysir, was born on Rabiah, and in the refraction became splintered into 5 variations of himself instead of 1,001.
As Magic’s first expansion, Arabian Nights was based on the collection of stories ‘One Thousand and One Arabian Nights’, and in doing so has a large amount of real-world parallels.

Allah - Different than the real-world deity, citizens of Rabiah worship a similarly-named entity because of the plane’s origins in A Thousand and One Arabian Nights
