A Nameless Prison
A surreal and nebulous plane, The Meditation Realm is one of the first places visited by the draconic planeswalkers Nicol Bolas and his brother Ugin. Home to ever-shifting topography and natural portals to other planes, it has the natural ability to shift based on the will of powerful beings that inhabit it. It was once the seat of Nicol Bolas’s power and known as “Bolas’s Meditation Realm”, but it was eventually repurposed as a prison for him after the events in War of the Spark. Due to the powerful magic of the colorless elder dragon Ugin, it is now fused to his essence, and is impossible to enter or exit.

Ugin, The Spirit Dragon - Although not a god or avatar in the traditional sense, Ugin has become spread across the Meditation Realm and become one with it, similar to how the souls of planes and avatars of planes function.
