A PERFECT DIAMOND STORM

Home of the planeswalker Teyo Verada, hero of the War of the Spark, Gobakhan is a twin-sunned desert plane ravaged by two massive superstorms. The storms, called the Eastern Cloud and the Western Cloud, are comprised of diamond dust, and impossible to defend against without advanced lightshield magic. The majority of the landscape of the plane is desert that has been pulverized by these storms, with key settlements with diamond exteriors making the exceptions. 

The majority of the denizens of Gobakhan survive thanks to the work of an order of monks called the Order of the Shield Mage, of which Teyo is an acolyte. The plane is home to humans, sand-devils, minotaurs, djinni, dwarves, and goblins.
